Olympic training
24Jul11
I received an email from a East Coast trains advising me that I could now book my rail tickets to watch the Olympics.
If I had been successful in my bid to buy some Olympic tickets I would have been slightly excited about this offer. As it is I am wondering if I should buy a rail ticket to Stratford (when will they rename the station “Olympic Park”?) anyway, where I could watch the alternative Olympic sports at which Britain excels:
1. Queuing
2. Waiting for delayed trains
3. Squeezing into claustrophobic public transport (heats)
4. Complaining.
