Tea for two

I meant to share this with you a few weeks ago: the highlights of a Valentines Lovers Menu (sic), which I spotted pinned to the wall of the gent’s toilet in a pub in Lancaster…

Upon Arrival: a glass of pink bubbly decorated with a Fresh Strawberry

Starter Platter: Camembert wheel, served warm with blanched asparagus spears and Chantennay Carrots, Chicken and Steak Skewers in a Satay sauce with Warm unleavened Flatbread, and Houmos

To Follow: A homemade Bread Bowl filled with a creamy Chicken and Sweetcorn Chowder

Main Course: Chateuabriand of Fillet Steak, carved at your table with a warm Bernaisse Sauce, Square Cut Chip Stack and Roasted Baby Vegetables

Dessert: Sweet Kebab Skewers of Strawberries, Banana, Pineapple, Marshmallow, Raspberries and Fudge Pieces. Served with 3 Chocolate Dipping sauces of: White Chocolate, Milk Chocolate Orange, & Dark Chocolate

To Finish: Cafetiere of fresh Coffee & Chocolate Hearts.

And if you were still hungry before the rest of your romantic evening, I noticed that there was a Chip Shop just up the road.
