Today I inadvertently memorised the first 11 digits of Pi.
3.1415926535 – see?
Now that I know this I can’t un-learn it. But I can’t think of anything to do with the fact. The knowledge occupies a small part of my brain which could have been used for other things. Like ‘why I came upstairs’ or ‘where I parked the car’.
Can anyone think of a practical use for knowing Pi to 10 decimal places, please?

When you are a headless chicken the circles are that bit more accurate.
It was the door code to enter the tea room of the Physics Department at the University of Reading (when it used to have a Physics Dept.)
Put all your ten digits on the edge of the Pie, bring it up to your mouth and bite into it. Very useful……in an emergency only of course.
